This clinical evaluation addresses the individual’s sexual interests, attitudes, and non-deviant sexual behaviors. For example, excessive use of adult pornography, cybersex, sexting, and other promiscuous or other problematic sexual behaviors. This evaluation does not address or discuss the risk potential to engage in sexually abusive behaviors towards others. Rather, the focus is on developing an accurate understanding of the reported behaviors and identifying appropriate treatment recommendations.
Individuals are typically referred for the following reasons:
- Excessive and/or problematic adult internet pornography use and/or addiction
- Excessive and/or problematic cybersexual behaviors including:
- Paying for on-line adult entertainment
- Adult themed chat rooms / fantasy role play websites
- Private cyber discussions with others via video / audio transmission
- Excessive and/or problematic sexting behaviors including
- Sending and receiving electronic images or videos of nude body parts or individuals engaging in sexual behaviors either via still photographs or video stream
- Solicitation of and sexual contact with prostitutes
- Incidence of infidelity or other sexually promiscuous behaviors
Comprehensive or Summary Report
Individuals have the option of receiving a comprehensive or summary report of the evaluation findings.
The comprehensive report will address the following:
- Identifying information
- Diagnostic procedures and psychological tests administered
- Sources of information
- Referral information
- Mental status
- Background information
- Family history
- Medical history
- Education history
- Professional history
- Mental health evaluation / treatment history
- Substance use history
- Interpersonal history (peer / marital)
- Criminal offense history (sexual / non-sexual)
- Test results
- Individual’s sexual history
- Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders-5th edition
- Conclusions and recommendations
The summary report will address the following:
